Aoki Densetsu Shoot
Toshihiko Tanaka decides to go to Kakegawa high school, after his graduation from junior high school, along with Kazuhiro Hiramatsu and Kenji Shiraishi, the other two members of the Golden Trio in Kakenjshi soccer team. And the only reason they want to attend this new established school is because of the second year caption Yoshiharu Kubo. The year before, rookie player Kubo led the two-month-old team to the quarterfinal of the national tournament.
Although there are some problems, the new players still fit the team well. Moreover, with the training from Kubo, Toshihiko succeeds the Meteor Shoot by his golden left foot. With these factors and the leading by Kubo, they reached the province final. However, Kubo left the team before the game, Kakegawa lost and knocked out from the Winter Tournament. (Only one team is qualified each province)
New team needs to rebuild itself before the National Tournament in summer, without Kubo. Assisted caption Atsushi Kamiya shows great leadership to replace the caption spot; and new comer Keigo Mahori fulfill Kubo's mid-field position. Their goal is the national champion. Toshihiko, he inherited Kubo's number 10 jersey, now needs to endeavor for his skill in order to reach their goal. Besides, he needs to strive for his love, Kazumi Endo, against his best friend Kazuhiro.
