Bastard
Set in a post-apocalyptic world where man and technology meet sword and sorcery, Bastard!! is the story of Dark Schneider, a demon wizard. Powerful, egotistical, and motivated by his goal to turn the world's women into his own harem, Dark Schneider led his army into battle against those who would oppose him until he was finally defeated by a group of priests who imprisoned him in the body of a little boy named Luche Ren Ren. And thus the story begins...
Bastard!! is a six part OAV and 22 book manga series written and illustrated by Kazuchi Hagiwara and STUDIO Loud in School. The series has been plagued by a series of problems (the manga was nearly dropped by Jump Comics because of decline in readership, Kazuchi Hagiwara had problems making deadlines and had a nervous breakdown, the anime leaves too much open and unanswered, the manga is now going overboard with new characters and overtly sexual artwork that just gets censored). But fans are still hopeful that the series will continue. I personally would like to see another six OAVs, if nothing else, to give the story a little more closure.
