Oji Tanaka is your everyday, middle-class, middle-aged, hardworking citizen with your typical 9-5 job. Oji however, in his past was known as Gabriel Tanaka and was a member of the hot Heavy Metal band Black Heaven. After just a few short years Black Heaven broke up, the members got married, got actual jobs, and lost touch.
One day, Oji meets Layla Uki, a beautiful woman who just started working in the same building as him. Oji and Ms. Uki go out drinking one night and he soon finds himself being lured into a model home by her. She opens the door, he steps in, and suddenly he is on board a space ship. She tells him that she is of an alien race that is trying to protect earth from the enemy. But in order to protect earth, they have to use the ultimate weapon and only the sound that comes from his guitar when he plays it can power up the super weapon. Oji agrees to help and is given his guitar from his past: His beloved Flying V.
