She is Yohko's grandmother, the 107th generation mamono hunter. She has been training Yohko ever since Yohko was little. Short and spunky, Madoka's power came from the ring she handed down to Yohko. Her weapon is a sort of metal nunchaku.

Madoka hides a mamono hunter shrine underneath the Mano house. It is accessed by a computer which sends a freight elevator down to the shrine room. This place houses portraits of all the previous generations of mamono hunters, has a library of books detailing the history of mamono hunters, and stored a clock which represented a seal that kept a powerful demon named Tokima from gaining full power.
