Miyuki - Character Info![]() Masato Wakamatsu. His early life was somewhat unfortunate. His birth mother died when he was very small, and after his father remarried, his step-mother also passed away. He had grown to love his step-mother very much, and before she died, he promised her that he would always take care of his step-sister Miyuki. He's been living without a family for six years. His father has been working in Canada, living with Miyuki. Now, Miyuki returns to Japan to live and study with his step-brother. In the mean time, Masato has been trying to get a relationship started with his classmate, Miyuki Kashima. After a few of unfortunate misunderstandings, they appear to be growing closer. Masato, however, becomes aware that he has also feelings for his step-sister, and comes across a moral dilemma. ![]() Miyuki Wakamatsu. Miyuki is Masato's step-sister. She's beautiful, popular, smart and energetic. She loves his step-brother very much, and gets very jealous when she sees other girls (mainly his classmate, Miyuki Kashima) around Masato. But is this really sisterly love? Since her mother remarried and died when she was very small, does Miyuki even know that she has no blood-relationship with Masato? ![]() Miyuki Kashima. Masato's classmate. Also beautiful and gentle, but more reserved than Miyuki Wakamatsu. She has feelings for Masato, even though it seems that, due to misunderstandings, she slaps him in every chapter early in the story. Masato honestly cares for her, but he is torn by his feelings for his step-sister. Kashima envies the very close relationship that Masato and Miyuki Wakamatsu have for each other, completely unaware of their real feelings.
