Meet Eric (Hibio), anime's rebel without a cause. He breaks school girls' hearts, determined to never commit to a girl as he so resolutely states, "Why would I want to complicate my life with anything as unstable and useless as a woman??"
Well, Eric, looks like you spoke too soon.
Meanwhile, in some distant land, his adventurous mother explores some caves to stumble upon the hidden mysteries of the tribe of Tattoon, but at a cost, to be sure! Bargaining for her life and a chance to study the ancient tribe's secrets and powers, she promises her son in marriage to the Tattoon vixen, Bala (Nima). Bala then travels in search of her soon-to-be husband Eric in hopes of gaining his love and eternal devotion.
When Bala finds Eric, she marks him with an "X" right in the middle of his forehead, declaring that he is now her eternal husband. When Bala's love for Eric is unrequitted, she displays her strong and magical Tattoon powers.
