There is this rumor about WildHalf, a mysterious detective who protects the weak, that there isn't a case he had accepted left unsolved.
As his whereabouts are unknown, the only way to reach him is to go to N park at exactly 3.00pm, sit on a specified bench and start relating your problems. He will be listening...
Yet strange as it is, requests by those who have bad motives are never accepted, as if he knows.
Who is WildHalf really? This leaves a lot of puzzles, as no one knows... well, almost no one.
Taketo Iwase, a fifteen year old school boy, whose brother is a cop, met WildHalf one day, in a rather unexpected way.
Now he knows the true identity of the famous detective and so will you...
The detective who help the weak is really...
...A Dog?!!!
Ah! He's not just any ordinary dog...Have you ever heard of a dog that can not only transform but also talk? No?! Hah! Well, this one does!
So this mysterious detective (Salsa) turns out to be one of these animals with special abilities referred as WildHalf. He can scent most feelings like hatred, happiness, anger, worries, suspicions, unless they are tightly guarded. So, be careful for he can smell what you're thinking about!!!
Taketo soon becomes Salsa's owner and joins him on his detective works.
As the story goes, they solve cases, and meet lots of other WildHalfs (a crow, a cat, some dogs, a leopard, werewolves...) and their owners, together with some hard fought battle, etc.
All and all, its a very nice manga full of touching scenes that will make your tears flow like rain.
